The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is investigating a robbery that was reported as having occurred in Newtown, St. Kitts, during the early hours of November 1st, 2025.
Ronnie Barriteau of Bird Rock, St. Kitts, reported that while in the vicinity of George and Douglas Streets between 5 AM and 6 AM, a masked male armed with a firearm approached him and demanded his valuables. Mr Barriteau reported that he complied with the robber’s demands, after which the suspect fled the area on foot.
Following further investigations by the Criminal Investigation Department and assistance from the Special Services Unit, one male was taken into custody to assist with the investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Basseterre Police Station or call Crime Stoppers at 707.
