The Traffic Department wishes to inform the general public that the traffic lights at the junction of Cayon Street, Fort Street, and Victoria Road are temporarily out of commission due to a system fault.
Technicians are currently working to restore functionality, and service is expected to resume by midday today, Monday, 28th July 2025. In the meantime, motorists and pedestrians are advised to exercise extreme caution when approaching the junction.
Where police officers or traffic lights do not control a junction, the normal rules for navigating an uncontrolled intersection shall apply. Drivers are reminded to reduce speed, observe right-of-way rules, and proceed only when it is safe to do so.
